Long term care is all we do! We apply the best medical knowledge with compassion and respect resulting in improved lives and health outcomes. We set a legacy of excellence for geriatric providers and have been doing so since 1998. Mid Atlantic Long Term Care is committed to providing quality care through our dedication, experience in geriatric medicine and a passion to serve our patients, their families, and our Community Partners.

OUR STORY:

MALTC was founded as Long Term Care of Tidewater in 1998. Dr. William Hovland, Dr. Antoine Arrage, and Dr. Nabil Tadros were the original employees. Today, we are pursuing the same mission with a team of over 112 professionals including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Associates, Psychologists, Triage Nurses, Medical Assistants, Healthcare Administrators, and support staff located throughout Hampton Roads, the Peninsula, Southeast Virginia, the Eastern Shore, and the Greater Richmond area. We are a provider owned health care company meeting the complex care needs of the geriatric population throughout the areas we serve. MALTC provides our Community Partners with medical leadership, and we place a Care Team that is clinically competent to foster a mutually beneficial long term relationship in the communities we serve.

As the President of MALTC, I can proudly say each provider truly cares about their patients. Our passion is Long Term Care so that is all we do. I have been with the group for over 18 years, because of the autonomy and flexibility in a provider owned practice I have chosen to make Long Term Care my primary career in lieu of working in the hospital and having a private practice.
